We’re always excited about serving you new and creative ways to stay healthy. Donned the name “Creative Health”.
This morning I was given 5 supplements that would increase the seratonin and help manage my level of stress, anxiety, and depression. Those things were: Kavazon for reducing anxiety and elevating your mood by Rainforest Bio-Energetics, Inositol, Taurine, and L-Carnitine by Designs for Health, and 3 vitamin B. (I guess that makes 8 supps!) The supplements by Designs for Health came in a powder form and was mixed in about 4 oz of water. I has a bit of a bitter taste and was actually easy to go down. With that I took the Kava (2) followed by the vitamin B.
They say with most supplements you should eat something before or after you take them. I was told after the fact and the affects work the same as it would if you were have taken prescription medicine that requires food. Well, maybe not that bad depending on how your side affects are. But for me normally I have a feeling of nausea and light headiness.
L-Carnitine is an amino acid and is used to replace the Carnitine already in your body. It’s also used for conditions of the heart and blood vessels. It’s also used for other things pertaining to muscle disorders, chronic fatigue, and anorexia, along with other things.
Inositol is a naturally occurring nutrient that aids in converting food into energy. It is used for panic disorder, nerve pain, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, high triglycerides, and depression. It also helps in promoting hair growth.
Kava is a crop of the western in which the roots are used in many different forms. There are claims that Kava has a potential for addiction because it produces mild euphoria and relaxation. And that my friends, is what I felt not to long ago!
